Make sure your baby wears a hat if she will be in a cold environment ||Expressing milk should be painless. If the child is having a balanced diet, healthy water to drink as described under the same section, he should not be in need of extra vitamins or minerals. One important exception is vitamin D. Our bodies naturally acquire vitamin D from exposure to the direct sun light. If your child is not adequately exposed to the sunlight than he/she will need vitamin D supplementation of at least 200 Units/day.
