Colostrum is rich with all what baby needs for the first 2-3 days till the breast begins to produce milk ||The more you help your toddler put his feelings into words (“I’m mad. I want the truck.” “I’m sad. I can’t find my bear.”), the less they will show aggressive behaviour. ||Reflux is common in newborns. Most babies outgrow reflux between the time they are 1 and 2 years old ||During growth spurts - around 6 weeks after birth — your newborn might want to be fed more often ||AAP recommends to avoid blankets (a potential suffocation hazard) until your baby reaches her first birthday ||Stop the continuous criticism to your teens. Highlight their qualities instead. ||Only close friends and relatives should visit you during your first month at home. They should not visit if they are sick ||Don't forget to watch what you say and do around your child: Imitation is one of the ways toddlers learn socially acceptable behavior. ||Don't ever be afraid to ask for help from a friend or relative. Time away will let you recharge. ||Don’t forget to put labels with date and time on your expressed milk bottles to check expiry dates ||

If the child is having a balanced diet, healthy water to drink as described under the same section, he should not be in need of extra vitamins or minerals. One important exception is vitamin D. Our bodies naturally acquire vitamin D from exposure to the direct sun light. If your child is not adequately exposed to the sunlight than he/she will need vitamin D supplementation of at least 200 Units/day.
